If possible I like to visit the location to see where the intended piece will be placed and gather further information including function, dimensions, surroundings, the customer's tastes, and potential budgets and deadlines.

Once this information has been obtained, the design process can begin. This can start at the first visit or I will return at a later date with a selection of sketches or scaled drawings for you to choose from. At this stage a rough indication of cost will be discussed as this has an effect on the way the furniture is designed and constructed.

Once the final design is agreed with you, I will produce detailed drawings and specification, material samples and a quotation. At this stage there is no cost to you but in certain circumstances, a design fee will be appropriate.

On agreement of the design, materials and finish, a deposit of 50% will be required before work can commence with the balance due on completion. On larger projects, stage payments will be agreed at fixed points during the process
